LONG BEACH — The Cabrillo football team was devastated Monday, according to its coach, after finding out the Jaguars had to forfeit all four of their wins this season because of a rule violation. The Jaguars, who were in the midst of a historic start to their season, violated a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) age requirement rule that states that all varsity players younger than 15 years old must sign a waiver. However, a subsection of CIF Bylaw 2100 clarifies that players must be at least 14 years old to play varsity football.
