LYNWOOD, Calif. – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the Long Beach (710) Freeway Thursday in Lynwood. California Highway Patrol officers responded at around 1:15 a.m. to the southbound 710 Freeway and Imperial Highway where they found one person in one of the freeway lanes after being ejected from one of the several vehicles at the scene, according to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball. According to the CHP, witnesses said a black Jeep might have hit the freeway's center divider and multiple vehicles, including a silver Mini Cooper, and sustained significant damage.
